Susan Schneider, SCRP, GMS, has been president of Plus Relocation Services since November 2005. Her extensive relocation knowledge and personal vitality have already added key developmental threads into the fabric of global mobility.
Her weekly blog, Wednesdays with Susan, has been a key tool to bringing relocation trends and tips to several global industries. A growing number of corporate professionals have appreciated Susan’s personal take on a variety of issues.
Susan grew up in the relocation industry with her parent mentors, Mick and Sandy Lee. She joined PLUS in 1990 as a Destination Consultant. From there, Susan gained valuable hands-on experience in several company positions, on her way to her appointment as president.
Her service to the relocation industry includes her current position on the Executive Committee for Worldwide Employee Relocation Counsel (Worldwide ERC®) In addition, Susan was elected to ERC’s 2007 Industry Advisory Council and holds Worldwide ERC’s Certified Relocation Professional designation. She has participated actively as an author and presenter and has earned ERC’s Meritorious Service Award in 2005.
Susan also is actively involved in her church and has served as a church council member. Through her own efforts or group opportunities with PLUS, Susan also donates her time to many event and causes. Some of these include the 3-Day Walk for breast cancer, Walk for Crohn’s Disease, and Steps of Hope. She lives in Plymouth, MN, with her husband Mark and two children, Jack and Ellie.
