What is the Real Estate Rewards+ Program?
The Real Estate Rewards+ Program is an employee real estate benefit program. The program offers employees a cash back reward (where applicable) for buying or selling a home and assists the employee in the selection and management of real estate agents. Also included in the program is an online resource center to help familiarize the employee with their new area and critical home buying and selling information.

What are my costs or obligations?
This service is provided to your company FREE of charge. However, your employees must buy and/or sell their home through a real estate agent selected by their Real Estate Rewards+ Counselor from PLUS. PLUS will receive a referral fee from that agent and will disburse their cash back reward to them after closing.

How do my employees qualify for the cash back reward?
The employee must be a Company employee or family member at the time of enrollment into the program. The cash back reward can be utilized for their primary residence or vacation home. (employees receiving home purchase and home sale benefits are not eligible for this program)

The program is available as long as the employee has not yet signed a listing or buying agreement and there are no previous agreements in effect. The employee must buy and/or sell their home through the real estate agent selected by their Real Estate Rewards+ Counselor.

How is the agent selected?
The employee's Real Estate Rewards+ Counselor will work with them to identify their real estate needs. The real estate agent will be selected based on their market and price range preferences as well as the agent's willingness to participate in the Real Estate Rewards+ Program.

Can the employee request a specific agent and still qualify for the cash back reward?
Yes, if they have not yet entered into a working relationship with that agent. Their Real Estate Rewards+ Counselor will contact the agent and invite her/him to participate in the program. If the agent does not wish to participate, the Real Estate Rewards+ Counselor will notify the employee and allow them to decide if they wish to continue in the program.

What if the employee is already working with an agent?
If the employee has not registered for the program and wishes to continue working with their agent, they will not be entitled to the cash back reward.

What if the employee is not satisfied with their selected agent?
If anytime during the process the employee notifies the Real Estate Rewards+ Counselor that the assignment is unsatisfactory, their Counselor will select a different agent and they can continue in the program. However, any written agreement between the employee and an agent will prevail.

Does the program apply in all states?
A cash back reward is prohibited by law in some states. Employees can ask their PLUS Real Estate Rewards+ Counselor if they qualify.
